imc Learning Suite meets Microsoft Teams: Boosting agile collaboration and greater connectedness in virtual teams

We are already in love: Microsoft Teams integration for our Learning Suite! More than 75 million people rely on Microsoft Teams each day – and that includes us! Elevate your modern workplace to the next level with this outstanding combination of learning and collaboration platforms. Your employees will be delighted!

How you benefit: With the new Microsoft Teams integration for the imc Learning Suite, courses can be shared directly in existing Teams groups to inform other group participants about suitable learning offers. Course curation and sharing helps learners quickly and easily find learning materials that improve their capabilities for their daily tasks at work. When creating a course, tutors are also able to create a team in Microsoft Teams that automatically includes all course participants. That makes it even easier for learners to discuss course content and support each other. The use of the video conferencing functions is of course possible. Check our factsheet for more information on the synergies between Microsoft Teams and the imc Learning Suite.

Advanced reporting functions make for better decisions

Controlling buffs will struggle to contain their enthusiasm about this update – but they are not alone in their excitement. You can now utilise greater capabilities and advanced filter options for test analyses, making them a breeze. What’s more, this data helps you optimise learning activity efficiency.

How you benefit: With advanced test reporting you can tailor the output of the collected data – such as average point score or total number of test attempts – and draw conclusions on learner behaviour and learning content quality.

A star rating function was added to the feedback form section of the learning experience to encourage learners to provide even more feedback on learning activities. They can communicate their personal impression by allocating stars.

An even better skill and competency management experience

In relation to skill and competency management, we focused on major improvements to the user experience. That makes for happier employees and faster processes.

How you benefit: We made it easier and quicker for learners and line managers to find and allocate matching skills and job profiles. Users select the specific job profiles and skills required from a broad range of options in the search function, and then expand on the selected skills.

Turn your training to hard cash: New options for prices and currencies

Innovation Pack 14.5 makes it even easier to manage course-related cost information with central controlling and international focus - helping you map global course portfolios.

How you benefit: The update allows you to display different prices for different currencies, as well as user-specific prices. You can therefore customise pricing for each user group, client or partner, and even create free offers.

The easy way to create media-based certifications

If you’re using the imc Learning Suite for certification-related training courses, the latest update will be a welcome relief. New functions and combination options bring greater flexibility and open the door to completely new opportunities.

How you benefit: Media in the catalogue is now taken into account for certification points and hours, thus contributing to the learners’ certification. This facilitates a more flexible and holistic approach, as certification-related content can be shared through courses, media or any combination thereof. The reporting function has been aligned with these upgrades.
Certification hours for tutors are now included as a new feature. Many companies need to provide professional development to a large number of employees effectively. One solution is to train specialists as tutors, who can then teach their colleagues based on the train-the-trainer model. With Innovation Pack 14.5, tutors in training can earn certification points for completed courses they taught under supervision.

All in: Simple and fast uploads with the new self-service certificate

This new feature cuts down on red tape while ensuring a seamless learning journey. Free up your HR department with this new self-service all your employees can quickly, easily and independently access from anywhere.

How you benefit: It is now even easier to integrate courses delivered by external providers as an element of the individual learning journey. With Innovation Pack 14.5, participants can simply upload their external certificates to the system, ensuring full documentation of all their learning journey elements in the imc Learning Suite. Alternatively, administrators can upload the certificates.
