Business Development Manager, SaaS, Learning Technology

Your Tasks
- Utilize your prospecting techniques to "hunt" for new business and build a robust pipeline of potential customers.
- Arrange meetings with prospects, employing relationship-building and influencing skills along with a consultative selling approach.
- Identify priority sectors and businesses within them, as well as key influencers and decision makers.
- Demonstrate our software solutions effectively, showcasing energy and passion to persuade potential customers of our value proposition.
- Prepare proposals, pitches, capability presentations, and compelling materials to captivate prospects during the sales phase.
- Collaborate closely with our pre-sales team to conduct in-depth sessions and address technical inquiries.
- Manage sales activities, focusing on our high-quality and innovative learning solutions.
- Persuade customers to close deals and adeptly negotiate contracts.
- Utilize our CRM system efficiently, including reporting and prioritizing sales activities.
- Be willing to travel occasionally.
Your Strengths
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Diligence in content and presentation.
- Proficiency in working with sophisticated software products and a genuine passion for technology and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse individuals and geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Capacity to build a comprehensive understanding of imc solutions.
- Familiarity with software such as LMS, HR software, e-learning, digital content, and knowledge management would be highly advantageous.
- Additional knowledge of API technology, web applications, common data formats, and cloud services is beneficial but not mandatory.

We are looking for a Dutch speaking Software Implementation Consultant with strong project management skills to join our colleagues in London.

Here's what you'll be doing...
As an imc Software Implementation Consultant, you will be working on delivering new customer projects, as well as collaborating with our existing customers to deliver ongoing work packages for our leading learning management system and other imc software products.
- Project management and package delivery with an ability to effectively manage project scope, time, and budget
- Analysing and understanding our customers' requirements to form solution designs and specification documents
- Proactively consult our customers throughout a project on imc’s software solutions
- Performing software configurations, to a high standard, based on specifications
- Supporting the wider imc team including doing demos, presentations, completing technical tender responses and pitches
- Diagnosing and reporting system errors as well as test fixes
Here's what you'll need...
- Partnering with our clients to give them the best fit solution for their needs
- Fluency in Dutch and English essential, German would be a big plus
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience consulting or configuring of business software systems (LMS)
- Problem solving, purposeful mindset with a desire to learn
- Customer driven with ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Ability to present and run both functional and technical meetings and workshops
- Flexibility to travel to the Netherlands
