Social Learning within the framework of software courses

Social Media – is increasingly finding its way into everyday life, both in our private and occupational spheres. With this increase in social media comes an extensive range of internet services, platforms and networks which are constantly growing. According to BITKOM (the German federal association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media), the main areas where businesses can utilise social media are advertising, marketing and public relations, followed by customer services and sales. Only 7% of the SMEs questioned use social media for knowledge management; but it's here, specifically, that there is still huge potential. The key phrase here is "Social learning" – this refers to informal, self-organised and networked learning, which is supported by social media.
