IMC AG has made a commitment to continuously develop its products and provide its customers with the most innovative and efficient systems available. With the Innovation Pack 5, the full-service provider for digital learning is offering an update for three of its products to the market: the learning management system − Learning Suite, the e-learning authoring software − Content Studio and the electronic performance support system − Process Guide. Acting entirely in its customers’ interests, IMC has focused this release on two major subjects currently causing a stir in the corporate world: compliance and on the-job training.
Easy compliance training for compliance officers
Due to an ever growing number of legal requirements, companies of every size and industry today face the challenge of coherently and efficiently managing their compliance strategy. The IMC Compliance Portal has been specifically developed to support employees responsible for compliance management within their company. The tool helps compliance officers create training options and then distribute these to their target groups quickly and easily. Furthermore, it allows them to track the learning progress, be it interactively within the system or by generating reports on a regular basis. Comprehensive reporting options ensure that detailed information on the compliance status of each employee and of the entire organisation is always at their fingertips. The system’s use of e-signatures also helps to improve identity management and the risk of misuse.
The new version of their electronic performance support system, IMC Process Guide, has also been updated with the topic of compliance as a focus. New employees can now be made aware of current company guidelines as they are actually dealing with a company-specific process for the first time. Compliance officers can even request confirmation that they have received the instruction. Confirmations, rejections and any deviations from standard process are automatically logged and made available in compliance reports. If users have questions, they can directly contact the compliance officer via the Process Guide comment function.
Structured support of everyday work thanks to on-the-job training
The ‘on-the-job training’ feature of the IMC Learning Suite helps to create an efficient and organised work structure. The module supports all mentor training scenarios where experienced employees share their knowledge with new colleagues, whether via apprenticeships, initial training, coaching or other scenarios. Thanks to the cleanly displayed checklist and dashboard showing learning progress, employees can see their tasks and where they are up to in the course at a glance. With just one click the supervisor can check whether the task has been completed by the employee as well as access their relevant data. All data are stored centrally in the system and can be accessed anytime from any terminal device.

And that’s not all: The release also contains exciting new features designed to further facilitate engaging e-learning within your company. Our new intelligent Smart Search function, for example, ensures a speedy and seamless search by displaying results matched to even a partial input!
User generated content as the focus of the development
The latest IMC Content Studio update makes it even easier to generate content. Using our modern screen-recording tool, you can create and add content to your training at the click of a button. In addition to screen recording, voice and web cam recording is also available.
