Key Account Manager

We are on the look-out for an enthusiastic, energetic Key Account Manager who desires a challenge in helping grow our business in the US, through playing a lead role in individual customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement for our valued customers whilst maximising the growth potential on each account in terms of revenue.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the relationship with your customers and maintaining a strong connection through regular communications and visits
  • Develop and implement well defined strategic customer plans for each customer to ensure customer retention and growth
  • Expanding your accounts via up-selling and cross-selling
  • Acquires new accounts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with new customers
  • Developing knowledge of our product and customer usage scenarios to provide strategic consulting and long-term support of existing customers.
  • Exploring opportunities for innovative solutions with the clients and developing proposals for additional products and services
  • Ensuring imc is meeting its obligations of our customer contracts, and pro-actively identifying and escalating areas of risk
  • Actively working with customers to seek referrals, references and case studies to help us leverage our relationships into new customers
  • Processing of enquiries, offers preparations, conducting negotiations of price and contract conditions
  • Managing the end-to-end renewal and re-contracting process with customers over their lifetime
  • Financial controlling, account reporting and revenue forecasting

What you'll need

  • Ability to build outstanding relationships with our clients
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Business minded ability to enable genuine business outcomes for both imc and our customers
  • Ability to run inspiring meetings and workshops with customers
  • Financial aptitude to manage financials associated with customers (quotes, orders, invoicing, annual revenues)
  • Strong understanding of our business software (full training will be given)
  • Ability to up and cross sell to an existing customer base and maximise revenue
  • Ability to effectively challenge customers and colleagues
  • Excellent influencing and negotiations skills

Software Implementation Consultant/Project Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual who desires a challenging consulting role and thrives on delivering successful projects to join our growing US team.

As an imc Software Implementation Consultant/Project Manager, you will be working on delivering new customer projects, as well as working with our existing customers to deliver ongoing work packages for our leading learning management system and other imc software products.

What you'll be doing

  • Running workshops with our customers to understand their requirements and provide an insight into solution options
  • Analyse our customers' requirements to form solution designs and specification documents
  • Perform software configurations based on specifications
  • Define and configure interfaces (batch .csv, SSO, API etc.)
  • Write test cases and complete end to end testing, as well as supporting our customers in their own testing
  • Diagnose and report system errors as well as test fixes
  • Project management and package delivery using waterfall and agile methods
  • Running training workshops and coaching sessions with the customer's teams
  • Support pre-sales activities with running demos, presentations, completing technical tender responses and pitches

What you'll need

  • Ability to build outstanding relationships with our customers
  • Ability to present and run both functional and technical meetings and workshops
  • Customer driven with ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Ability to effectively challenge our customers and colleagues
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal.... German a big plus!
  • Understanding of SQL database driven web-based applications
  • Experience consulting or configuring of business software systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of SSO solutions, APIs, and interfacing protocols beneficial

Here's what you'll do

  • Evaluate tender opportunities and prepare detailed, eye catching responses to RFPs and RFTs during the pre-sales phase, responding to questions, proposal and business case content and RFP follow up meetings and demonstrations
  • Confidently present imc products to organisations either in the pre-procurement or procurement phases
  • Work alongside the Business Development team in articulating customer objectives to determine a final set of business requirements
  • Ensure clarity of functional and non-functional details to build and present a technical solution
  • Lead follow-up meetings with potential customers to skilfully and authoritatively present product demonstrations

Here's what you'll need

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you’re able to work with a wide variety of people and to collaborate with geographically distributed teams
  • Scrupulous attention to detail, both in terms of content and presentation
  • Customer centricity with the ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate software solutions with energy and passion to convince prospects of our solutions and key value proposition

Business Development Manager

What you'll be doing

  • Hunting” for new business, using your own prospecting techniques to build a steady pipeline of prospective customers
  • Act as the face of imc representing the company at events (e.g. speaking), with the press/PR, and establishing yourself as a trusted person in the market related to learning technology solutions
  • Arrange meetings, using your relationship building/influencing skills and a "consultative selling approach"
  • Identifying priority sectors, businesses within them, and the key influencers/decision makers
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate software solutions with energy and passion to convince potential customers of our solutions and key value proposition
  • Prepare proposals, pitches, capability presentations and develop materials to grab attention during the sales phase
  • Convince customers to close the deal and negotiating contracts
  • Willingness to sometimes travel

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail, both in terms of content and presentation
  • Ability to work with sophisticated software products - an affinity for technology and software
  • Ability to respond to RFP requests for proposals
  • Negotiation and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Affinity with software such as LMS, HR Software, e-learning, Digital Content, Knowledge Management etc. would be highly beneficial
