Auto Update and proxy server
Question: How do I use LECTURNITY Auto Update with a proxy server?
Solution: LECTURNITY Auto Update automatically uses the settings of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If Internet Explorer is configured correctly, access to the LECTURNITY update server by Auto Update will work without any problems.
Auto Update hangs, Internet Explorer not working
Question: Why does LECTURNITY Auto Update hang when I start a LECTURNITY application or when it is called up manually via "LECTURNITY Auto Update configuration"? For me, even Internet Explorer doesn't work.
Explanation: LECTURNITY Auto Update uses Windows functions to download update information from the Internet. These use the same settings as Internet Explorer. If Internet Explorer is not configured correctly, Auto Update will not work either.
Solution: Correct the Internet Explorer settings so that you can call up the imc AG homepage, www.im-c.de.
Problems after interrupted deinstallation
Question: Having cancelled the (unintentional) deinstallation of LECTURNITY, I find that the PowerPoint import function no longer works. The LECTURNITY Editor can also no longer load documents, but simply reports that the audio file could not be read.
Explanation: When you cancel the deinstallation, some files required to operate LECTURNITY are no longer registered in the system.
Solution: Completely uninstall LECTURNITY and then reinstall it.
