Integrating a Learning Management System with other application systems delivers a variety of potential benefits: For example, integrated data and automated cross-system workflows enable learning processes to be effectively linked with business processes. The CLIX Integration Framework offers a range of standardised, highly configurable interfaces that can be used in a number of scenarios for integration into the existing IT environment.

CLIX2AICC / CLIX2SCORM / CLIX2IMS Learning Design
CLIX supports the main international reference models – the AICC, SCORM and IMS Learning Design standards – for simple exchange of web-based learning content.
CLIX2IMS QTI
The add-on components CLIX Testing and Assessment and CLIX Evaluation enable questions to be imported in accordance with the IMS QTI standard. Since questions can also be created and exported, they can be used by any test and examination system that supports this standard.
CLIX2ERP
CLIX2ERP is a standardised interface for the synchronous and asynchronous exchanges of course, booking, user and other data with your ERP system when using JMS or SOAP technologies.
CLIX2SAP® Portal
The SAP® NetWeaver® Business Package for CLIX provides users with fast access to their personal learning environment. As users of the SAP® NetWeaver® portal, they can retrieve information such as learning content or booked courses without the need for additional login processes. Various iViews are available that display the course information from CLIX in your SAP® employee portal.
CLIX2MOSS Enterprise®
As CLIX is integrated into Microsoft SharePoint® portal technology, users have direct access to the CLIX core functions. This means they can centrally access the resources they need without having to simultaneously run several applications on their desktop. They benefit from the best of both technologies: CLIX optimally supports learning and teaching processes and the targeted distribution of learning content, while the SharePoint® server’s uniform access allows the combination of multiple applications and standardises their use, while also offering extensive communication and cooperation functions.
CLIX2HIS
This interface is used by CLIX to exchange examination data, lecture and seminar registrations, catalogue content from lecture directories and a host of other data with your university information system. It helps to reduce administration effort while ensuring that your data remains up-to-date in both systems.
CLIX2Shibboleth
With this link option, your users can access CLIX services after logging in at the relevant educational establishment without the need for further authentication (single sign-on).
CLIX2Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro
Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro is a web communication system that allows you to deliver multimedia content to your audience during a telephone conference. Based on Flash technology (installed on 98% of Internet-enabled desktops worldwide), Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro makes it possible for users to instantly participate in virtual classroom sessions without downloading software. CLIX offers seamless integration into Adobe® Connect™ via the CLIX Virtual Classroom add-on.
CLIX2LDAP
This interface is used for imports and ongoing maintenance of user data from your LDAP system, and for central authentication of your users.
CLIX2SMTP
This highly configurable connection to your internal mail system enables users to receive automatic e-mails with booking confirmations, news about your courses and other events in your CLIX environment.
CLIX2SSL
Support for the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standard ensures secure handling of your user and learning data. The SSL interface also supports LDAPs in combination with CLIX2LDAP.
