New customers: How you can easily start using CLIX
Existing customers: What the new Release can do for you
Learning management is an application profile. The data from CLIX can be profitably used in numerous other application systems. For example, many companies administrate their course bookings and learning results in their HR system. Or the accounting of services used should take place via the central FI/CO system. The user access to the system must also be optimally designed. For this purpose, learning management systems are often integrated in the central portal of the company or university.
CLIX offers appropriate solutions for these and for other application areas. Ask us about the following and about further integration scenarios:
Integration with portal solutions
CLIX2SAPNetweaver
The SAP Netweaver Business Package for CLIX supports the users with rapid access to their personal learning environment. As users of the SAP Enterprise Portal they have access to information regarding learning content, booked courses etc., without the need for further login procedures. CLIX offers three different views of the system for this purpose, each completely integrated in the SAP Enterprise Portal.
CLIX2MOSS
The integration of CLIX in the Microsoft SharePoint portal technology gives the users direct access to core functions of the Learning Management System CLIX. Students and employees can access the required resources centrally without having to simultaneously operate several applications from their desktop. The strengths of both technologies are completely retained: CLIX contributes especially to the optimal support of learning and training processes, and to the structured, and matched to the target group distribution of learning content. The SharePoint server bundles numerous applications via a uniform access, simplifies their use and offers comprehensive communication and cooperation functions as well. More about CLIX2MOSS

Content integration

ADL SCORM
The ADL, an organisation belonging to the American Department of Defense, have developed, with the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), a reference model for architecture based on the work of AICC and other standards committees (IMS, ARIADNE and IEEE) that enables the use and re-use of eLearning content across different learning environments. The basic philosophy of the SCORM approach is the division of the learning resources into small, independent units. In terms of a learning progress control, the learning progress and the processing times at runtime are saved and transferred to the LMS. CLIX implements the SCORM specification level 3 in version 1.2.

AICC
The AICC, an international committee of CBT manufacturers and specialists founded by the American aircraft industry, delivers specifications for the eLearning application software. With the AICC interface, a content interface is provided in CLIX that enables content, which has been developed according to the international AICC standard, to be integrated in, and to communicate with CLIX. CLIX implements the AICC specification level 1.
IMS QTI
The IMS Global Learning Consortium is a further non-profit organisation that deals with the definition of standard specifications for eLearning. The IMS-QTI specification (Instructional Management Systems - Question and Test Interoperability) describes a data model for question and test data as well as the corresponding evaluation. The specification is especially concerned with the exchange of this data between different authoring tools and LMS. Questions and tests according to the IMS-QTI standard can be imported using the CLIX add-on Advanced Testing and Advanced Evaluation. In addition, questions and tests can be created and exported with the authoring components. They can therefore be used by all test and control systems that recognise this standard.
