European Patent Office (EPO)

Description of the Project

The European Patent Academy ensures the overall co-ordination of the external education and training activities of the European Patent Office by offering education and training on intellectual property law to staff members, lawyers, judges and others.

The European Patent Office has opted for the Application Service Providing (ASP) hosting solution, thus enabling them to concentrate on the development of content while IMC will be fully responsible of hosting the e-learning platform.

 
Timeschedule of project:

• Piloting phase (in-house): Implementation, configuration, training, etc. 03/2007-08/2007
• Phase 2 (until 08/2008): Integration of already existing e-learning content provided by the Academy into the learning management system CLIX®. Particular value is set on monitoring, tracking and evaluating the learning progress of their students.
• Hosting and technical support since 09/2007
