PROLIX is a project co-financed by the European Commission as part of IST research. PROLIX stands for "Process-oriented Learning and Information eXchange". The aim is to design learning architectures so that the skills acquired by the learner can be better adapted to the company's requirements resulting from business processes. The technical aim is to integrate learning management platforms with business process management platforms as a service-oriented solution.

20 research and application partners are working together on the project. The project budget is 12.4 million, with a delivery volume of 7.65 million. The project term is four years (until November 2009).
