PROLEARN is a "Network of Excellence" project financed by the IST programme (Information Society Technology - Contract Number 507310) of the European Commission. Partners are European experts in the field of "technology-enhanced professional learning".

The mission of the project is to bring together the most important research and development institutions in the field of further education and educational technologies, and to exchange and jointly further develop their knowledge. This should make it easier to fill the gaps between research and application and the transfer of results.

In the process, PROLEARN considers the most important subjects in the field of learning technologies and brings them into a wider application context. At the same time, PROLEARN aims to make young scientists familiar with the subject, to ensure more sustained application and to identify a future roadmap for innovation in the European educational system.

Within the project, imc AG is responsible for the special subject of "Knowledge Work Management". This includes questions of integrating learning in business processes and combining learning with activities on the job.

In the PROLEARN Academy, young scientists are regularly trained on the subject of e-learning and learning technologies.
