The "Information For A Choice" (IFAC) research project analyses the reasons for the low proportion of women in scientific and technical careers ("Science, Engineering, Technology" - SET). It summarises the findings of existing studies in political recommendations for action and offers them to interest representatives and political decision-makers. In addition, the project partners interview successful women about their scientific and technical careers. The description of these CVs, together with the experiences made can act as an incentive for younger women. They can find out about these career opportunities and be encouraged to make a corresponding career decision.

The project is running from October 2006 to September 2008. It is being promoted by the European Union in the sixth framework programme.

IMC AG is participating in the PR and is creating bases for internal project collaboration. It offers organisational and technical services for web publishing, online collaboration in the project and the creation of a community of career advisors.
