Christian Wachter, born July 15th, 1971, studied Economics at Saarland University. In his research he focused on conception and design of multimedia learning and knowledge environments.

During his two-year occupation at the Institute for Information Systems at Saarland University (Director Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. A.-W. Scheer), Mr Wachter was instrumental in developing and conducting the WINFO-Line project (Wirtschaftsinformatik/Information Systems Online), which was supported by the Bertelsmann Foundation and the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation.

Christian Wachter has been working for IMC since 1998. Initially in charge of the project management for the conception and development of multimedia learning contents, Mr Wachter is also jointly responsible for the Consulting Department since 1999. In 2002 he was appointed Authorised Officer and became part of the IMC executive board. As Director Consulting, Christian Wachter is responsible for the “Learning Management Solutions” department. Morover, he is CEO of IMC's swiss branch.
